Last week a customer had an emergency and needed a 32" sheave repaired which they use in brick manufacturing. The customer was replacing bearings in the sheave when they noticed it was cracked inside and out. As a result of this the plant had to shut down until the sheave could be replaced or repaired. They immediately contacted us so we could get to work finding a solution to the problem, measuring the broken part and working up a drawing to machine it. Thanks to the team effort our customer was able to pick up the repaired part that same evening. Below are some progression photos of where it started and the completed product.
