Our team recently completed a Two-Cavity Phenolic Mold that makes a component of a composite frac (fracturing) plug. Frac plugs are drillable composite tools that are created to allow for the zonal isolation of materials in situations where multi-stage drilling and stimulation is performed. Composite frac plugs provide a dependable and cost efficient method to temporarily isolate multiple zones during high pressure stimulation stage frac operations in both horizontal and vertical applications.

Additionally, frac plugs are typically available in a variety of sizes making our custom mold capabilities important for each unique situation presented.
